Santa Cruz, CA boardwalk rides Lagoon Lapoon
Hello friends,

Is garlic pizza classified as a weapon? Could be. It certainly sent those vampires running when they caught up to us again at the Santa Cruz boardwalk. Gummy had been eating garlic pizza to Sunny's disgust, and when he screamed upon seeing the vampire gang, they smelled the full firepower of his garlic breath.

The rest of the night was full of boardwalk rides and carnival games. I really enjoyed the Giant Dipper roller coaster. Gummy sunk one of the children's speed boats as he ignored the 56" maximum height sign. The Haunted Castle made us all a little homesick, but the UNDERTOW and Double Shot renewed our sense of adventure! When we got to the carousel we ran into Gilli Fishel and his father. They were taking a short vacation/book signing tour for Mr. Fishel's new memoir Lagoon Lampoon. It was good to see them again and they invited us to go swimming at their hotel's pool. I think we'll take them up on that offer. Until next time!
