Felipe Femur & Friends is the kid-friendly monster world created by twin brothers David Vincent Dorn and author Russell J. Dorn. David shaped much of the visual side of Toonstone through character art, design, comics and game development, while Russell helped build the writing side through stories, books, character scripts, articles and the personalities behind the cast.
Felipe himself is a friendly skeleton who would rather solve puzzles, make music and spend time with friends than frighten anybody. Around him grew Toonstone and a whole crew of oddball monsters: Gummy the toothless werewolf, Sunny the sun-loving vampire, Runny the not-so-wicked witch, Melody the banshee and many more.

From a spooky website to a whole little world.
Felipe and the early Toonstone cast were taking shape online, with character bios, stories, activities and a growing kid-friendly Halloween world.
Felipe Femur & Friends expanded into an interactive game/app experience, joining other ZebraFox Games projects and giving kids a way to explore Toonstone and meet the cast.
The world kept growing through books, comics, games, scary stories, music, videos, crafts, recipes, coloring pages and seasonal activities.
FelipeFemur.com was rebuilt as a modern home for the original characters and projects alongside a new library of Halloween guides, family activities and free printables.
Felipe has been around a while, but Toonstone still has plenty of room for new stories.
